Job Description

The Yard Driver is responsible for moving trailers in and out of specific locations using a yard goat.Pay: $25 hourlySchedule/ Shift Available: 1:00AM-9:30AMTruck/ Yard Driver Duties & Responsibilities:Transport/move trailers to and from yard location using a yard jockey.Maintain accurate reports and logs.Must maintain safe driving record.Ensuring compliance with applicable DOT, Company, State, and Federal policies/laws regarding traffic, safety, hours worked, and drugs and alcohol.Must have excellent customer service skills, phone skills, and basic computer knowledge.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Valid Class A CDL (Required)Must be able to complete a background check, including FBI criminal history, employment background, and pre-employment drug test.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must be U.S. citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.Must possess a valid driver’s license.Driving record with no more than 3 points.Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs. at a time.Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time.Yard Jockey experience preferred. 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offPaid trainingVision insurance
