This hybrid role involves hands-on electrical work, from routine tasks like changing lights to full apartment rewires, alongside supporting the commercial team by gathering detailed site information to assist in preparing accurate quotations.This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys both the technical and organisational sides of the job, playing a key role in ensuring work is completed safely, effectively, and in line with client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out a range of electrical work on-site (e.g., maintenance, fault finding, rewires)Gather detailed job/site information to support the quoting and pricing processSign off completed works to compliance standardsAccurately record the results of verification processesSupport the team with technical and site insights to inform estimates and work scopesStay up to date with relevant regulations and standards About YouMust-HavesMinimum 2 years’ experience testing and signing off electrical work NICEIC Approved Contractor18th Edition Certification2391 Test & InspectionNice-to-HavesFire alarm system qualificationsAOV (Automatic Opening Vent) experienceTraits That Work Well HereHardworking, reliable, and self-motivatedComfortable working independently or collaborativelyProactive with a can-do attitudeHigh attention to detail and strong communication skills Package & Benefits£45,000 base salary (permanent) OR £230–£250/day (self-employed)Company van, fuel card, and material accountsPaid overtime available (flat rate)Paid parking and congestion charge10-hour working days (on-site by 8:00am)45-minute lunch breakCall-out paid at x2 rateRole based on-site — approx. 80% of work is in and around the M25If you're an experienced electrician ready to take on a broader role in a company where your expertise will truly count — we’d love to hear from you.
