HI Partners is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented VAT & Tax Reporting Officer to join a reputable structure in Luxembourg. This role is responsible for managing tax declarationsVAT compliance, and fiscal reporting, ensuring the company meets all regulatory requirements while optimizing its tax position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance, fiscal reporting, and VAT processes, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Prepare and submit all required tax declarations, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee VAT reporting and ensure timely and accurate VAT returns.
  • Support the preparation of fiscal reports, including tax-related financial statements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations, particularly in relation to VATcorporate tax, and fiscal reporting.
  • Assist with internal audits and liaise with external auditors for tax-related queries.
  • Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure all tax filings are consistent with financial statements.
  • Identify opportunities for tax optimization and provide recommendations to management.
  • Respond to tax authority queries and manage any audits or inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with international tax standards and internal policies.

Required Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's or Master's degree in TaxationAccountingFinance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 3-5 years in tax complianceVAT reporting, and fiscal reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and tax reporting obligations.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tax reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex tax regulations and translate them into actionable compliance strategies.
  • Fluent in French and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Valid work permit for Luxembourg or EU passport.

Desired Skills:

  • Professional certifications in taxation or accounting (e.g., CTAACCA, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Previous experience in the Fiduciary and/or Investment Fund industry. 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
