In this role the number cruncher will be honing their skills as a professional by learning how financial accounting works through the nuts and bolts of an organization.Key Job DutiesBooking income (donor tracking if applicable)Booking expensesReconciling bank accountsApproving check requests in the Finch AppEnsuring expenses are working properly in the Finch AppManaging bookkeeping tasks as they come in via emailRespond to all emails within a 24 hr periodReviewing books for accuracy and proper accounting rulesResponding to basic client inquiries only with approval of Senior / ManagerRaising issues as they are noticedAlerting the senior / manager to tasks requiring significant amounts of timeEntering their time on a daily basis (totaling 8 hrs for full time accountants)Good candidates for this job include those who want a slightly less traditional accounting role and enjoy a fully remote work flexibility arrangement as the entire job can be conducted in the comforts of your home.
