About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Shipping Specialist to coordinate and oversee outgoing shipments. In this role, you’ll manage logistics documentation, ensure accurate order processing, track inventory, and maintain open communication with both internal teams and external carriers. Key Responsibilities:

•  Shipment Coordination: Plan, schedule, and organize outgoing shipments, including selecting carriers, managing shipping documents, and communicating with logistics partners.
•  Documentation & Compliance: Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, customs forms, and other necessary paperwork; keep accurate shipping records for compliance.
•  Inventory & Tracking: Monitor stock levels to ensure availability for upcoming orders; maintain up-to-date records to prevent shortages and delays.
•  Collaboration: Work closely with production, sales, and customer service teams to fulfill orders on time; provide shipping status updates to both customers and internal stakeholders.
•  Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to optimize shipping operations, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field—preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Solid knowledge of standard shipping procedures, freight terminology, and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with shipping software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude toward problem resolution.

Working Conditions:

• This role requires frequent standing, walking, and exposure to a manufacturing environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
