We are with QCELL (https://qcell.tech/) , a VC-backed, spin-off of the Technical University of Crete, based in Chania, Crete, Greece. We are leaders in Hyperspectral Medical Imaging technologies, cameras and systems and are looking to hire a full-time Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team.Responsibilities You should be able to produce and implement complex software solutions, independently You will be working with the senior management in designing, configuring and testing innovative medical imaging systems You will take the lead on technical and operational projectsYou will joint and expand our industrial and academic network BSc/MSc/PhD degree, in Computer Science, or Electrical & Computer Engineering, and related fieldsDeep knowledge and proven 4 years of experience in: a.Design, development and maintenance of desktop software applications with C++ and Qt (Widgets).b.GPU programming c.Design, development and maintenance of software on microcontrollers (firmware).d.Software design, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.e.OpenCL and OpenGL for graphics and data processing acceleration.f.Version control systems (Git).Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with emphasis on drafting (in English) scientific publications, grant applications and technical reportsWork with physical presence in QCELL’s premises located in Chania, Crete, Greece If you have experience in software development and agile methodologies, we certainly would like to see you.
