Overview
We are seeking a Senior Finance and Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at ESR Thailand. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing accounting operations and managing financial reporting, planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enforce, and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
- Manage the accounting outsourcing team to ensure work is completed accurately and on time. This role addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities, including financial reporting, half-year and year-end audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with IFRS/TFRS standards.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including managing general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets register and taxes.
- Supervise the completion of tax reporting requirements (including income, property, and other local taxes) and other reports required by government regulations.
- Coordinate with the Revenue Department on tax-related matters.
- Lead the auditing process for half-year and year-end, including gathering all requested data and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in TFRS and IFRS to assess the impact of new or revised accounting standards on the Group.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and corporate initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- At least 10 years of solid experience in accounting, tax, finance, and consolidation, particularly related to real estate for lease
- Strong knowledge of ERP system, especially SAP or Yardi
- Strong understanding of Thai financial regulations, tax laws and accounting standards
- Good communication in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Proven ability to lead a team, manage projects and collaborate with other departments
