We wish to appoint a Risk Management Senior Consultant  in our Banking / Financial Risk Management Consulting team in Athens, to be involved in various projects for leading Greek and international Banks and other financial institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a client-oriented team that provides advice on banking regulations, supervisory guidelines, and expectations on institutions’ risk management practices.

  • BSc and/or a MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Risk Management, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, or other related field with strong quantitative focus.
  • Ph.D. or other certification in risk management (e.g., PRM, CFA, FRM) will be considered as an asset.
  • At least 6 years of working experience in financial risk management in banks/financial institutions. Experience in consultancy will be highly regarded.
  • Good knowledge of the risk management framework design and implementation as well as CRR/CRD, EBA guidelines and IFRS 9.
  • Experience in credit risk model development/validation. Additional expertise in ICAAP, ILAAP, Stress Testing will be highly valued.
  • Strong numerical and programming skills, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as R, Python, SQL, SAS, SPSS, MATLAB, or STATA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details.
  • Good knowledge of banking products.
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of a firm.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
