We are currently seeking to employ a talented and highly motivated “Senior Accountant” to join our Accounting & Tax team.

The main purpose of the role is to undertake all aspects of accounting, consolidation and taxation, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting under IFRS, corporate taxes calculation and submission, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Manage SAP ERP system (FI, CO, RE-FX, MM) and SAP BPC reporting by following legislative rules and internal procedures. Ensure systems support consolidation and IFRS compliance effectively.
• Monitor and perform reconciliations under IFRS, including support for group consolidation processes. Provide expertise and consultation to ensure proper application of IFRS across reporting and planning.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Oversee the integrity of consolidated financial statements and reports.
• Manage and perform calculations and submissions of tax documentation, including participation in audits and transfer pricing reviews.
• Assist in the monthly and annual financial reporting and consolidated financial statements submission in accordance with IFRS and shareholder instructions.
• Participate in internal and external audits and lead budget activities including planning for non-insurance entities.
• Generate reports and perform data analysis using Power BI and advanced Excel functionalities to support decision-making.
• Strengthen internal controls and recommend accounting policies and processes for better governance and compliance.
• Contribute to projects by offering subject-matter expertise in IFRS, consolidation, and tax/accounting-related matters.
• Promote digital transformation and automation across accounting and reporting workflows.
• Stay updated with IFRS and tax regulations, providing training and knowledge sharing within the team.

Knowledge:

• BSc in Finance and Accounting
• Master’s degree is preferable
• First-grade professional license from the Chamber of Commerce.
• ACCA Diploma in IFRS is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in IFRS application, including preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP R/3 (FI, CO, RE-FX, MM) and SAP BPC.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and other analytics tools.
• Strong track record in financial reporting, closing processes, and tax compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, ideally in the insurance or financial services sector.
