The Sales Support Specialist will work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to support outreach, respond to in-bound questions and bolster our sales fulfillment efforts.  This key role will support our opportunity pipeline, spearhead outbound sales and marketing initiatives, and act as the interface between our customers, dealers and SmartFlower’s commercial operations. Key responsibilities are as follows: 

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and direct them to the right global sales team. 
  • Qualify and analyze website traffic to focus social media and other lead generation activities. 
  • Research new industries and identify potential business growth opportunities. 
  • Gather and record relevant lead data in Salesforce CRM (name, location, business type, etc.). 
  • Maintain and optimize our lead and opportunity pipeline ensuring timely follow-up activities. 
  • Use Salesforce tools and ZoomInfo to run strategic outbound email campaigns. 
  • Track and analyze lead performance to refine and improve marketing strategies. 
  • Stay up to speed on SmartFlower’s value proposition and environmental impact. 
  • Research incentives and grants to drive adoption and increase sales revenue. 
  • Collect and communicate customer feedback to help shape future offerings. 

Annual Salary Starting at $60,000  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred) 
  • Previous customer-facing or sales support experience (B2B is a plus) 
  • Enthusiasm for renewable energy and sustainability 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Salesforce and ZoomInfo 
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and working independently 
  • Microsoft Office Suite and WordPress proficiency 
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills 
  • Hard working with impeccable integrity

Our bright and sunny headquarters is in Boston, MA, adjacent to public transportation. This is a full-time role with standard hours (8AM–5PM), with occasional longer hours based on customer needs.
