Symmetrio is recruiting a Revenue Cycle Lead for our client, a leader in oncology software innovation. The Revenue Cycle Lead provides visionary leadership for planning, initiating, and implementing comprehensive revenue cycle strategies. As a strategic leader to the executive team, the Director collaborates across various functions including Product, Business Development, and Client Implementation teams to identify opportunities for enhancing revenue cycle processes and optimizing financial performance.
In this role you will drive continuous improvement of existing programs while independently leading new revenue cycle initiatives. This role is primarily responsible for establishing, designing, and advancing revenue cycle capabilities to ensure operational excellence and sustained growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust revenue cycle strategy that aligns with organizational goals, business strategy, and market opportunities.
- Provide leadership and oversight of existing revenue cycle functions, including support for product management and client system integrations.
- Define and prioritize product features and workflows based on customer feedback, product performance, market analysis, and strategic business objectives.
- Act as the primary revenue cycle relationship manager for existing and prospective clients, offering expert guidance and thought leadership to enhance customer interactions.
- Cultivate and maintain external relationships with industry stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and payors, to drive improvements in revenue cycle processes.
- Serve as a senior member of the leadership team, contributing strategic insights and supporting cross-functional initiatives to enhance revenue cycle operations.
- Conduct market research and monitor changes in industry regulations, trends, and competitive products, providing valuable feedback to the executive team to maintain leadership in the revenue cycle domain.
- Develop comprehensive requirements documentation to optimize key revenue cycle functions, such as prior authorization, insurance updates, billing, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish a clear vision for revenue cycle systems, data modeling, and analytics to improve overall efficiency and performance.
- Represent the organization at industry events, executive meetings, and client engagements, translating client needs into actionable requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to ensure seamless integration and delivery of revenue cycle solutions.
- Monitor and analyze revenue cycle KPIs, financial metrics, and market trends to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance revenue cycle operations and service delivery.
- Extensive experience in large-scale Revenue Cycle management environments.
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in revenue cycle management or consulting within healthcare or related industries.
- Proven success in product management and solution development, particularly in scalable healthcare technology and/or payor environments.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, revenue forecasting, and achieving financial targets.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare systems, including clinics, hospitals, and payor delivery models.
- Experience in value-based care, population health, and emerging healthcare market dynamics.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with familiarity with clinical and financial operational processes.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with skills in team management, client engagement, and relationship building.
- Experience working in matrixed environments, collaborating with engineering, R&D, marketing, sales, and finance teams.
- Track record of delivering successful software products in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
