We are now seeking a stellar AI Engineer / Research Scientist to develop and scale our AI models, advancing the future of intelligent commerce.

• 4+  years of research and/or hands-on experience in one or more areas of AI/NLP, including but not limited to:

• Text generation (e.g., summarization, translation, story/dialog generation).
  Multimodal generation involving text-to-image, text-to-speech, etc
• Large language models (LLMs), transformer architectures, or diffusion-based generative models.
• Experience with 
• LLMs fine-tuning, RLHF, and prompt engineering for generative AI applications.
• Agentic use of LLMs, including tool use, multi-step reasoning, autonomous agents, and decision-making pipelines.
• Proficiency in algorithms and programming, with strong coding skills in Python.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a research or engineering team.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as llamaindex, Langchain, Huggingface, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ year(s) of work experience in a university, industry, or government lab, in a role with primary emphasis on AI research.
• Publications in top-tier NLP or ML venues such as ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, or COLING.
• Direct experience in generative AI and LLM research.

• Experience working with large-scale datasets, distributed training, or efficient model deployment.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize AI/ML models for e-commerce personalization, recommendation engines, and ad targeting.
• Conduct applied research in deep learning, NLP, and computer vision to enhance AI-driven commerce solutions.
• Implement scalable AI architectures, leveraging cloud-based services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams to integrate AI models into production systems.
• Utilize large-scale datasets to train, validate, and fine-tune AI algorithms for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest AI research, publications, and advancements, applying cutting-edge techniques to product development.
• Optimize AI models for real-time inference, performance, and scalability in e-commerce and advertising applications.

• Design and maintain ML pipelines, automation tools, and MLOps frameworks to streamline deployment.
