Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract a Research Scientist to join our Stability team at Pharmathen’s Pallini premises.

As a Research Scientist you will provide high quality support in analytical and formulation development in a GLP environment. You will also support all stages of a new product development through preparation and analysis of R&D formulations.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

  • Work on R&D projects for new or old products and perform various tests on product based on laboratory procedures. Record Data, observations, and conclusions
  • Deliver, evaluate and interpret experimental data
  • Keep accurate and detailed handwritten or electronic records on laboratory data
  • Check the laboratory loggers and update respective electronic database. Calibration of internally calibrated instrumentation based on schedule (daily,weekly etc)
  • Maintain and follow all laboratory systems, GMPS
  • Follow the rules as defined in the relevant EU and FDA guidelines
  • Adheres to safety and housekeeping requirements
  • Assumes other activities and responsibilities as directed

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field /Technical institution degree
  • At least 2 years of practical knowledge gained through experience accompanied by a technical or vocational training
  • 0- 2 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent experience

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
  • Computer literacy
  • Troubleshooting  skills
  • Competent in analytical method development techniques (HPLC, GC,etc) and production  lab instrumentation
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
