A leading Financial services company is seeking a dedicated Relationship Manager (RM) to engage with government clients and assist in navigating the intricacies of public sector projects. In this role, you will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials and entities, ensuring that our solutions align with their needs and objectives. This position is integral to our business strategy, leveraging your insights and connections to drive growth and enhance our service offerings in the government sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, facilitating communication and addressing any concerns or needs.
- Strategic Development: Identify opportunities for collaboration and growth within government sectors, proposing tailored solutions and services.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key government stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and trust in our services.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams to deliver services and solutions that meet government requirements and regulations.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about public sector trends, policy changes, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights to the team.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account status, pipeline, and key metrics to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or business development within the government sector.
- Strong understanding of government operations, procurement processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
