QS4QS is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to the success of our construction projects. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs, assessing financial feasibility, and ensuring that all financial aspects of the project are in line with expectations. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, collaborating with a team of industry experts to deliver high-quality construction outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.Conduct detailed analysis of drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to assess costs.Assist in tendering processes, including evaluating bids and negotiating contracts.Monitor project expenditures and financial progress, identifying variances and proposing solutions.Prepare payment applications, cost reports, and other financial documentation.Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize project delivery.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.2+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or related roles.Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and costs.Proficiency in construction cost estimation software and MS Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Relevant professional certifications or memberships are a plus.Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
