Responsibilities
- Lead and organize the quality assurance and control team, ensuring project deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
- Develop departmental priorities, objectives, and improve quality management systems (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and company requirements through meticulous documentation and audits
- Oversee quality inspection processes, non-conformance resolution, and initiate process improvements
- Implement LEAN methodologies and participate in process optimization projects like Six Sigma or Kaizen
- Manage customer complaints and integrate feedback into enhancing processes and quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure comprehensive quality in production and processes
- At least 3 years of experience in quality control within the manufacturing sector
- Proficiency in Latvian and English language skills (verbal and written)
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and experience in their implementation
- Proficiency in LEAN, FMEA, 8D, PPAP, RCA, and quality assurance methodologies
- Effective team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Competence in using statistical quality control (SQC) tools, quality management software, and interpreting technical documentation
- Engineering knowledge and an understanding of production processes; wind or high-tech industry experience is advantageous
