Quality Control Specialist - Schimatari

Who we are looking for
A Quality Control Specialist to support the Kerakoll Hellas Lab team in QC projects and lab tests in line with the Company technical requirements and the input from the Laboratory Manager and the Marketing team.
The QC Specialist conducts controls which ensure that raw materials and final products consistently meet the specified quality and performance standards according to Local and European Legislation and manages cases of non-compliance.
The Quality Control Specialist will report to the Quality Control Manager and will be based in Schimatari.
Responsibilities

Run quality control checks on raw materials and semi-finished products to ensure that they meet the required chemical composition and characteristics. Monitor the production process and take corrective action in cases of non-compliance.
Record test results in the SAP system, analyze non-compliant products and generate reports for the Technical & Commercial Department.
Update Quality Control procedures documents for raw materials and finished products as needed.
Analyse and process results to improve operating procedures in quality control and to have a continuous improvement in the processes for the realization of the finished product.
Communicate with other local QCs of Kerakoll Group to share learnings and best practices.
Conduct sampling, maintenance and cleaning of the laboratory and its equipment as required by internal procedures and European legislation.
Submit purchase requisitions for maintenance services and spare parts to the Quality Control Manager for approval.
Calibrate instruments according to the Calibration Plan and record results.
Assist in inspections of production lines to ensure the quality of semi-finished and finished products.

Desired profile

Previous equivalent experience considered as a plus
Degree in Materials Science Engineering or Chemistry considered as plus
Fluent in Greek and basic knowledge in English.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
SAP knowledge considered as a plus
Effective planning
Time Management
Team player
Problem solver with Analytical Skills
Resident of Schimatari, Chalkida or nearby areas is considered a plus
