Our vision? Emergency help is minutes away, anytime, anywhere. In the past five years, we've built a lifesaving platform and the largest ambulance and responder network in East Africa. Our platform has slashed response times by over 90%, saving countless lives.

We're a diverse team of over 60 specialists in business, operations, software engineering, and emergency dispatch, based in Nairobi but reaching across Kenya and beyond.

Our Values:

  • Consistency: We maintain high standards in everything we do, every single time.
  • Design with EQ: We create with empathy, focusing on human needs.
  • Always Questioning: We encourage curiosity and continuous improvement.
  • Alignment: We work together towards common goals.

About the role:

This role focuses on provider partnerships at Rescue.co. Your role is crucial in broadening and refining our emergency response network. The duties include recruiting and onboarding of new service providers, ensuring they are fully integrated, understand, and comply with our operational standards through a comprehensive process involving account setup, training, and technology installation.

The right candidate will leverage field data to improve onboarding, inspections, and partner engagement, while monitoring partner performance to ensure compliance and efficiency. This position requires a proactive, organized individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to enhancing our emergency response services through effective partnership management.

This is what you will do:

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new service providers to expand the reach of our emergency response network.
  • Train all new and existing providers on how to use the Flare app, dispatch protocols and standards.
  • Carry out inspections among existing providers and new providers.
  • Travel to meet with existing and new providers.
  • Solve provider-related issues by collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and effective solutions.
  • Ensure all data is entered properly within Flare Dispatch for the providers—both current and prospective providers —and also on the internal CRM.
  • Leverage data and insights from the field to make recommendations for improvements in onboarding, inspection processes, dispatching, and care, in addition to engagement activities.
  • Oversee the distribution and setup of necessary technology and equipment to new providers, ensuring they are equipped to participate in our network effectively.
  • Track and evaluate the performance of providers using system metrics to ensure compliance with service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all providers operations are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements, and report on partnership activities and outcomes to senior management.
  • A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field is required, with preference given to candidates with a background in the security response field and/or road rescue related disciplines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills, with a proactive and adaptable mindset to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in data management, analysis, and visualization, and proficiency in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM systems.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili is required; proficiency in other languages spoken in East Africa is advantageous.
  • Background in Security Response or Roadside Assistance is a big plus, with experience in emergency dispatch considered advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

  • A chance to make an impact in a mission-driven organization.
  • A fun work environment in our Nairobi office.
  • Unlimited vacation
  • Comprehensive Healthcare for you and your family
  • Full rescue.co cover - both road ambulance & roadside assistance
