About the role 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Design Team Leader to drive the design strategy for our growing team.
This role requires strong expertise in UI design, a deep understanding of user experience principles, and the ability to lead and inspire a team of designers.
As a Product Design Team Leader, you will focus on creating scalable design systems, crafting exceptional user interfaces, and incorporating animations to deliver compelling and engaging digital experiences.Reporting to the Head of Experience, you will play a key role in mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions.This is not just a job - it’s an opportunity to contribute to the creation of a neobank from its very foundation. 

What you'll be doing

•  Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a culture of excellence.
•  UI Design: Deliver high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile platforms that are visually stunning and functionally robust.
•  Design Systems: Develop and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistency across all projects and platforms.
•  Animation and Interactivity: Integrate animations and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement and experience.
•  Product Development: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
•  Prototyping: Build and present interactive prototypes to demonstrate design ideas and user flows effectively.
•  User-Centered Design: Leverage user research and usability testing to validate designs and optimize for user needs and business goals.

•  Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
•   Tools & Expertise: Proficient in tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Hands-on experience with design systems and scaling them across products.
• Familiarity with animation tools like After Effects or Lottie.
•  Collaboration: Strong understanding of front-end technologies to facilitate effective collaboration with development teams.
•  Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing exceptional UI designs, design systems, and animation examples.
•  Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor and manage a team of designers while driving impactful design outcomes.
•  Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
