About the role:

Transmax has grown significantly over the last 2 years, and we are not slowing down!

We’re in the next exciting stage of our growth phase which is why we are now recruiting for a Principal Consultant to take on a varied role encompassing operational and project related tasks.

Working as Principal Consultant you will possess well-developed, broad experience in solutions delivery, technical leadership and be responsible for providing professional consulting services to our customers.

Your day-to-day will include: 

• Acting as a technical liaison with customers and within Transmax, utilising a full-service ITS solutions approach across bids, opportunities, delivery and strategic initiatives.
• Undertaking project leadership roles whilst ensuring quality, systems engineering standards, processes, procedures and guidelines for services delivery are met.
• Occasionally working at customer sites (locally, inter-state or internationally) when required or attending industry events.
• In conjunction with the customer account and success managers, maintaining and developing the customer relationship to develop opportunities, tender and bid responses and achieve a ‘trusted advisor’ status.
• Contribute to effective commercial and risk management practices.
• Achieving the group business goals through improving product knowledge and use of delivery tools.

About You:

We are looking for consultant passionate about Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) systems, leadership and displaying familiarity with ITS or control systems.

Ideally you will hold a Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Information Technology or have equivalent, proven experience in the field of business and systems integration.

You will have highly demonstrable systems engineering experience, including design, deployment planning, integration and commissioning of large-scale control systems as well as experience in project proposal development and assisting business development.

Ideally you will have:

• Certification (or being in the process of becoming certified) as a Registered Professional Engineering in Queensland (RPEQ)
• Experience working in technical environments (IT)
• Experience in managing large -scale projects.
