How you will contribute to EveryPay's vision

We are seeking a skilled Payment Schemes Analyst for managing and optimizing Point-of-Sale (POS) solution and Card Payment Transactions. This role involves maintaining POS software and hardware, troubleshooting issues with our partners from Visa and Mastercard, and supporting end-users to ensure seamless transaction processing. The candidate will work closely with IT, Operations, and support teams to enhance system efficiency and user experience.

What will you be doing:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain POS systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve POS software and hardware issues in collaboration with IT and our partners from Visa and Mastercard, in a timely manner.
  • Work with internal teams and third-party vendors to integrate and implement international schemes payment solutions.
  • Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of EMV standards, including both chip and contactless payments.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to implement system updates and enhancements.
  • Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in integrating POS systems with other enterprise applications.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference.
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with security and operational policies.
  • Work with vendors and service providers for software updates, repairs, and technical support.
  • Participate in testing new POS features, upgrades, and rollouts.

We will appreciate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • In-depth experience with international payment networks and transaction flows.
  • Proven experience in POS system administration, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Strong knowledge of POS software, hardware, and network configurations.
  • Understanding of payment processing, inventory management, and retail operations.
  • Familiarity with Visa and Mastercard schemes will be considers as a plus.
  • Ability to analyze system logs and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with security standards and compliance regulations related to POS systems.
  • Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or scripting is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with POS systems in retail, hospitality, or food service industries.
  • Experience working with international schemes.
  • Familiarity with major POS platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based POS solutions and integrations.
