The Role

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated Spend Payment Operations Analyst to engage with and support Ottimate clients on a daily basis.  You'll engage with customers, providing email/phone/zoom support to answer client inquiries related to payment transactions on our Spend platform.  You will interface with other Ottimate teams including Onboarding, Risk & Fraud, Product, and Engineering while providing world class client service.

What You'll Do

  • Client Support:
    • Troubleshoot client inquiries related to spend card card transactions, spend card settings, and reconciliation
  • Process Improvement:
    • Contribute to all spend-support related workflows and identify internal tool enhancements that would increase efficiencies for the spend payment operations team.
    • Prioritize customers' support requests based on service priority and professional judgment
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Serve as a feedback loop from clients about potential product enhancements
    • Serve as an escalation point for any client inquiries requiring further involvement from other Ottimate Teams 
    • Collaborate with banking partners to resolve issues and support customers
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop client relationships and identify opportunities to deliver more value to specific accounts
  • Self-motivated personality, excellent problem-solving skills, and very detail-oriented in daily work
  • Quick learner with the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure with SaaS offerings and interest in supporting client relationships
  • Familiarity with customer service software (e.g. Freshdesk, Zendesk, Jira, etc.)
  • Exposure to Fintech platforms and payment workflows (e.g. credit card, ACH, & check)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience: 1-2 years experience in payment processing, client services, and/or SaaS Products
