We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Clinician to join our GRIT team, a residential program providing structured, person-centered counseling and recovery-oriented services. This role focuses on supporting individuals (18+) with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The Clinician will work collaboratively with our skilled multidisciplinary team to help residents build the framework for long-term recovery and develop aftercare plans for a successful transition back into the community. The employee will be hired with an anticipated start date of May 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with residents to address co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Facilitate one clinical group per week, fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with the GRIT treatment team, which includes licensed clinicians, case managers, prescribers, and recovery staff, to create individualized recovery plans.
  • Support residents in their journey toward recovery, helping them build resilience, perseverance, and confidence.
  • Provide input on aftercare planning to ensure successful community reintegration.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with program guidelines.

  • The role involves working directly with residents who participate in various structured activities, including education, job training, community volunteering, or employment.

  • Must have a bachelor's or master's degree in social work, mental health, psychology or a related field.
  • LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC1 preferred
  • Must be able to pass and obtain certifications in CPR and First Aid.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented treatment approaches.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid Driver's license, sufficient automobile insurance, acceptable driving record, and a safe reliable vehicle during working hours.
