- Since launching in November 2024, IM8 has expanded rapidly across the US, UK, Canada, and Asia, with a growing global community of customers, doctors, creators, and performance experts. More than just a supplement brand, IM8 is building a movement at the intersection of wellness, science, and culture — with an ecosystem that includes educational content, expert-led masterclasses, community activations, and more.
Now, we’re looking for a passionate PR & Community Manager to join our Hong Kong-based team and take the lead on building our global community and brand voice for IM8.
What You'll Be Doing: - Lead global PR execution: Work closely with our US-based PR agencies and internal marketing team to drive earned media, influencer placements, and brand storytelling across priority markets (US, UK, Canada). Write, edit, and coordinate press releases, founder quotes, bylined content, and talking points for interviews or events. Help craft media narratives, build media kits, and maintain our press assets (bios, fact sheets, brand story). Work cross-functionally to identify and surface new media angles — from product innovation to brand milestones, scientific breakthroughs, and customer stories.
- Own community building: Cultivate and grow IM8’s community across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Email, etc.), creating authentic connections with customers, creators, ambassadors, and fans.
- Manage our affiliate and ambassador program: Build relationships with creators and partners, onboard new affiliates, and help optimize performance and engagement across the network.
- Engage and energize: Be the human voice of IM8 in our DMs, comments, groups, and live sessions. Show up with energy, enthusiasm, and empathy.
- Create community content: Write newsletters, design content calendars, coordinate guest speakers and expert masterclasses, and build educational content around fitness, nutrition, health, and longevity.
- Support events & activations: Help coordinate community events, digital campaigns, and local collaborations that drive buzz and engagement.
- 5+ years of experience, ideally in consumer health, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle brands, ideally in early stages of the business.
- 2 to 3+ years in PR (agency or in-house), with proven success in earned media, influencer seeding, and product launches.
- Global mindset: Experience working across time zones and with global communities (not just APAC).
- Native or near-native English fluency.
- A people person — outgoing, charismatic, and comfortable hosting and engaging with the community.
- Detail-obsessed with excellent writing and communication skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
- AI-obsessed: Comfortable using and experimenting with AI tools for content, comms, and workflows 24/7.
- Able and willing to work flexibly across global time zones when needed.
- Based in Hong Kong, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
