Offshore Editor – Intelligent Insurer

UK-based | Remote or Hybrid | £38k–£43k | Full-time, Permanent

Are you a friendly, sharp, curious B2B journalist with an eye for a scoop and a passion for global markets? Intelligent Insurer is looking for an experienced Offshore Editor to lead coverage of the Bermuda re/insurance and ILS sectors - producing standout content for a senior international audience.

You’ll be breaking news, shaping features, and owning our Bermuda newsletter, plus building relationships with key industry players and representing the brand at global events.

What You'll Do

Deliver exclusive news, interviews, and insight-driven features

• Manage and edit Bermuda content across Intelligent Insurer and Bermuda:Re+ILS 
• Curate a dedicated weekly Bermuda newsletter
• Build relationships with senior industry execs and thought leaders
• Represent the brand at key global events (including travel to Bermuda ~2x/year, plus the USA and Europe)
• Support sponsored content and ensure strong digital publishing workflows

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in B2B journalism (ideally in financial services or insurance)
• Strong writing, editing, and news judgement
• Confident interviewing and moderating skills
• Excellent organisational skills and editorial accuracy
• Financial awareness and a globally curious mindset
• Willingness to travel internationally

Nice to have:

• Insurance/reinsurance or ILS market knowledge
• CMS and SEO experience
• Strong features or conference reporting experience
• Degree level qualification in media, journalism or related subjects although not essential if you have subsequent career experience
