We are seeking a skilled and experienced Office 365 Contractor to assist with the migration of an Office 365 tenant to another tenant. This role requires strong expertise in Office 365, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and PowerShell scripting.

The contractor will also support disk imaging tasks and implement cybersecurity measures using Microsoft Defender. You will work closely with the IT Manager to ensure a smooth, secure, and efficient migration process with minimal disruption to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the migration of an Office 365 tenant-to-tenant, including:
• Migrating Exchange Online mailboxes and user data
• Migrating OneDrive for Business content
• Migrating SharePoint Online sites and document libraries
• Updating DNS records and ensuring seamless mail flow
• Reconfiguring Microsoft Teams access and settings
• Perform user and group migration through Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) 
• Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate and manage migration tasks
• Perform backups and restores of SharePoint Online content as required
• Assist with disk imaging and re-provisioning of user workstations
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls using Microsoft Defender 
• Work collaboratively with the IT Manager and provide regular status updates
• Provide post-migration testing, support, and issue resolution

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Office 365 tenant migrations, including Exchange, OneDrive, and SharePoint
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and identity management
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for Office 365 and Microsoft 365 automation
• Experience with OneDrive for Business migration strategies and tools
• Proficiency in SharePoint Online backup and restore processes
• Experience with disk imaging and device setup
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft 365 security features
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
