QS4QS is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Maths - Visiting Lecturer to join our academic team and contribute to the education of our students in mathematics. This part-time position involves delivering high-quality instruction in various mathematical topics, ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts and apply them effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical expertise and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions on a range of mathematical subjects, from basic algebra to calculus and statistics.Develop course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments that align with academic standards.Evaluate student performance through examinations, projects, and presentations, providing timely feedback to support their learning process.Mentor and support students, offering guidance in their academic journey and helping them to cultivate problem-solving skills.Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the mathematics curriculum and integrate current trends and methodologies in teaching.Stay abreast of advancements in mathematical education and methodologies to incorporate innovative teaching practices.Encourage student participation and foster a positive and interactive learning environment.Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the mathematics program. Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.Significant experience in teaching mathematics at the higher education level.Strong understanding of various mathematical topics and effective pedagogical methods.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels.Proficient in using educational technology and tools relevant to mathematics instruction.Commitment to academic excellence and fostering student success.Flexibility to teach on a part-time basis and available for student consultations outside of class hours.
