Role Overview
As the Marketing Manager at CodeLink, you will lead the marketing team in developing and executing strategic initiatives that elevate our brand and drive lead generation in North America. This role requires a strong leader with proven team management skills, extensive experience in B2B marketing—preferably in consulting or industries with large-ticket items and long sales cycles—and a global perspective.
You’ll work closely with the management team to align marketing efforts with business objectives, leveraging logical thinking and strategic expertise to create impactful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive lead generation in focus markets, particularly North America.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, client needs, and competitor activities, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Design content pillars and marketing guidelines that align with brand identity and business objectives.
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing materials that align with the strategies.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Define team goals, assign tasks, and ensure smooth coordination across content, SEO and design.
- Provide guidance and feedback to team members, supporting their professional growth and ensuring successful project execution.
Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with the management team to ensure marketing strategies align with overarching business goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, ensuring cross-departmental collaboration and uncovering new growth opportunities.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor marketing performance metrics, analyze data, and refine strategies to maximize ROI.
- Leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve marketing efforts and ensure alignment with evolving market dynamics.
- Minimum of 5 years in B2B marketing, with at least 2 years of experience managing a marketing team with diverse roles and functions.
- Familiarity with the software development services industry is highly preferred, else ideally in B2B consulting or industries involving large-ticket items and long sales cycles.
- International work or study experience, contributing to a well-rounded global outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and develop effective marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to interpret data, monitor performance, and adjust strategies based on insights.
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Three days remote every week and four full remote weeks per year.
