Maviance PLC is engaging in its expansion phase in Cameroon and within the CEMAC (Central African) region with the goal of establishing the company as the #1 leading player in the Fintech and Digital Financial space.

To accompany us in this light, we are in need of a Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and drive market awareness. The ideal candidate shall possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, and a proven track record in developing successful marketing campaigns. They will be responsible for analyzing market trends and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our business goals. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Develop and execute market segmentation strategies to target specific customer groups effectively.
  • Design and implement differentiation strategies to position products uniquely in the market
  • Conduct market studies, surveys, and benchmarking studies to gather data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis.
  • Analyze data to generate insights that inform marketing strategies and product development.
  • Share detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of products from conception through launch and beyond.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product strategies, roadmaps, and marketing plans.
  • Monitor product performance and manage updates and improvements based on market feedback and data analysis.
  • Manage marketing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop project plans, especially go-to-market strategies, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against these metrics.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and stakeholders on new products, marketing strategies, and tools.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure the team is equipped to execute marketing initiatives effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
  • Experience with CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Proven ability to use analytics to drive marketing decisions and optimize campaigns.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust strategies based on market changes.
  • Understanding of diverse markets and the ability to tailor marketing strategies to various cultural contexts.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing marketing campaigns.
  • Passion for technology and its potential to drive social impact.
  • Willingness to travel for events and client meetings as needed
