We are seeking an experienced System Engineering Manager with a strong background in system design, system architecture, and modeling. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in mechatronic and/or software systems, coupled with a solid understanding of core engineering principles. As a key leader in our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing system engineers, defining system architecture, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and efficiency.

This position requires a deep technical mindset, the ability to create strategic roadmaps, and a strong focus on optimizing system performance while ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, ensuring seamless integration across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of system engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Develop and manage system architecture and system design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering best practices.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept development to end-of-life, assessing product viability at each stage.
• Define and implement technical roadmaps, guiding the team through complex engineering challenges while maintaining a focus on long-term goals.
• Ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering into unified system designs.
• Leverage well-defined system release strategies to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, R&D, and manufacturing, to align system engineering efforts with business objectives.
• Optimize system performance, ensuring efficiency and reliability in real-world applications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, driving continuous improvement in system engineering methodologies.
  
  Key Qualifications & Skills 
•  10+ years of experience in systems engineering, system design, and system architecture.
• Strong expertise in mechatronic and/or software systems, with a deep understanding of engineering principles.
• Proven track record of leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams, driving collaboration between mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.
• Experience in defining and implementing system architecture strategies, ensuring seamless product integration.
• Hands-on experience in system modeling and simulation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to create and execute technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business and engineering objectives.
• Experience working with regulatory and compliance requirements in system engineering.
