QS4QS is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Land Surveying - Visiting Lecturer to join our academic team and contribute to the education of our students in the surveying discipline. This part-time role involves delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, and ensuring that course content is relevant and engaging. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in land surveying and a passion for sharing knowledge with the next generation of professionals.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions focused on land surveying techniques, principles, and technologies.Design and update course materials, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical assessments, providing timely feedback.Support and mentor students in their academic development and career aspirations.Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the curriculum and integrate current trends in land surveying.Stay updated with advancements in land surveying technology and methodologies.Encourage student engagement and participation through interactive learning methods.Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the academic program. Master's degree or higher in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.Extensive professional experience in land surveying and relevant industry experience.Previous teaching or lecturing experience in higher education is preferred.Strong understanding of land surveying principles, technologies, and best practices.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.Proficient in using surveying software and technologies relevant to the field.Commitment to academic excellence and the personal development of students.Flexibility to teach on a part-time basis and availability for consultation with students outside of class hours.
