Who you are

You are a hands-on IT professional who excels at building and maintaining internal technology infrastructure. You're proactive in solving technical issues and can balance day-to-day support with long-term infrastructure planning. You understand the technology needs of a high-performance engineering team and can create an IT environment that maximizes productivity and security.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • 3-6 years of experience in IT administration (exceptional candidates with different experience profiles will be considered)
  • Networking: Experience with LAN/WAN setup, WiFi infrastructure, network security, and troubleshooting
  • Hardware Management: Expertise in procuring, setting up, and maintaining workstations, servers, and peripherals
  • Operating Systems: Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux administration
  • Security: Knowledge of endpoint protection, access management, and security best practices
  • Cloud Services: Experience with Google Workspace, Office 365, or similar cloud productivity suites
  • VPN Solutions: Setting up and managing secure remote access solutions
  • MDM: Experience with mobile device management for company devices
  • Identity Management: Experience in setting up identity management and user profiles for SSO
  • Inventory Management: Asset tracking and lifecycle management
  • Help Desk: Experience running technical support for a diverse user base
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and knowledge bases
  • Basic Scripting: Familiarity with automation scripts for routine administrative tasks

Key Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for setting up and maintaining office network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and WiFi.
  2. Configure and manage workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for employees.
  3. Implement and maintain security protocols, including VPN, firewalls, and access controls.
  4. Responsible for procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and software licenses.
  5. Provide tier 1 and 2 technical support to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  6. Manage cloud-based services including email, storage, and collaboration tools.
  7. Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans for critical systems.
  8. Responsible for onboarding and offboarding employees from an IT perspective.
  9. Create and maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures.
  10. Ensure compliance with security best practices and company policies.
  11. Set up and maintain conference rooms and presentation equipment.
  12. Support remote team members with technical issues and connectivity solutions.

Location

This position is based in our Bangalore office. Given the nature of the role, physical presence is required for most responsibilities.
