About the role

Join our Health & Safety team based in Brighton, where you’ll support teams across our office and manufacturing sites. You'll work closely with teams to promote best practices, safety culture and champion a safe and positive working environment

• Manage inbox requests, coordinate meetings, and support safety forum follow-up

• Arrange site visits and inspections, preparing all required documentation and safety arrangements
• Conduct regular site walks to monitor compliance, engage with employees, and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and deliver health and safety training, including inductions, toolbox talks, and mandatory courses
• Maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring accessibility and accuracy Record and analyse safety data to support incident investigations and drive continuous improvement
• Record and analyse safety data to inform policy updates and improvements
• Stay up to date with health and safety legislation, attending training to maintain knowledge and support compliance
• Respond to urgent safety concerns and support incident resolution
• Support internal and external audits, contributing to the preparation process and implementation of actions
• Work with departments to embed safety into everyday practices
• Travel to Eastbourne as and when required.

What are we looking for?

• Strong organisational skills, ability to manage a complex workload with high attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships at all levels.
• Experience and knowledge of Health and Safety policies, legislation or similar industry.
