As the Head Butler, you will be responsible for overseeing the household staff and ensuring that the highest standards of service and hospitality are maintained at all times. This prestigious position requires excellent leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine passion for providing personalized service to our distinguished clientele.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage the daily activities of the household staff, including butlers, housekeepers, and maintenance personnelCoordinate all aspects of service for guests, including meal service, event planning, and special requestsMaintain an inventory of household supplies and manage procurement as necessaryEnsure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the propertyAnticipate and fulfill the needs and preferences of the residents, enhancing their overall experienceServe as a point of contact for guests and external service providers, ensuring seamless communication and coordinationEnforce health, safety, and security protocols, maintaining the integrity of the householdHave experience preparing a principal for travelPacking and unpackingFull wardrobe management & knowledge of expensive fabricsTop experience in front of house and food & beverage service – you will meet and greet guests and be personable and knowledge when it comes to formal and informal serviceRunning personal errands for the principalA real eye for detail and being one step ahead of the principal’s needs.Liaising with other staff to ensure the smooth running of the householdTech savvy and a good communicator – you may be asked to make various appointments and reservations Proven experience as a Head Butler or in a similar high-level role within luxury residences or hospitalityIn-depth knowledge of household management, service, and etiquette standardsStrong leadership and team-building capabilitiesExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekendsA valid driver’s license and knowledge of local and international cuisine is preferredProficiency in relevant technology and software for household management
