The role reports to the Project Lead – Fraud and is responsible for ensuring that all compliance elements around external fraud are met. This includes gathering individual evidence for all cases, managing internal processes to reduce the financial impact of Fraud and ensure controlled processes are in place to ensure good customers can transact. What does a day in the life look like?Providing Dispute Evidence to challenge fraudulent chargebacks receivedDevelop a best practice format of evidence to submit to challenge chargebacks received Monitor win rates of evidence submitted to ensure constant improvementIdentify improvements to internal processes to ensure end to end controls are in placeTime management of disputes based on deadlines to submitManage various sources/external agencies (AMEX, Braintree, International Banks)Future events processCollate daily chargeback information and unpick transactions that relate to future dated events Manage end to end process with State Managers to ensure chargebacks are recorded on Ticketek system accuratelyVerifying Customer Details Developing controlled and documented processes and metrics are in place regarding managing risk where chargebacks have taken place.BI ReportingPrepare bi-weekly Business Intelligence Reporting on levels of Fraud and any supporting commentaryData Analysis & Team SupportSupport team lead by gathering and analysing chargeback data to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of future potential external fraud.Project WorkSupport team lead by providing analysis, insights and at times coverage on any stream of the Fraud programWhat are we looking for?Bachelor of Science -Business and Management or equivalent degree CA/CPA qualification -is desirableStrong PC SkillsMedium to advanced level of ExcelExperience with visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau highly desirableGood communication and listening skills, with ability to quickly develop strong relationships and instant rapportExcellent planning and organisational skillsAbility to work quickly and accurately. Also, ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with conflicting deadlines and multiple projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, which support and enable sound decision makingPositively influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts inherent in a high-growth environment.
