Our client, a well-established pharmaceutical company, seeks to recruit a Financial Reporting Analyst.
Main Responsibilities

• Gathers, processes, analyses, records and evaluates financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Prepares and analyses financial reports and statements (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements) in a timely and valid manner and submits them to Financial Management and Board Members
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather financial data
• Assists with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Prepares ad-hoc financial reports for special projects and presentations for management
• Ensures compliance with IFRS accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Makes suggestions and designs improvements regarding company's reporting systems
• Creates and maintains financial models
  

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field
• Master's degree will be considered an asset
• 3-5 years of professional experience in relevant positions
• ACCA / CFA certification will be considered a plus
• Strong knowledge of Financial reporting, IFRS principals, local accounting & reporting regulations
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
• Fully proficient in using MS Excel; experience with BI tools will be considered a plus
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems; Experience in Galaxy software will be considered an asset
• Analytical skill & attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across teams and functions
• Results orientation & accountability
