Finance and Payroll Coordinator

You will be the sole responsible for the financial administration of the company and human resources day to day activities and coordination with our external advisors. You will report directly to the General Manager and you will receive the support of the group financial controlling and accounting teams, based in abroad. On top of the day-to-day activities, the three years to come will be key for the company with the internalization of the finance function, implementation of the e-invoicing and change of IT system.

Projects

  • Transfer of competence with the current external advisor – to be started as soon as possible
  • Change of IT system planned 1 January 2026

Accounting

  • Accounts payables activities
  • Invoices reception, booking and archiving
  • Weekly payment campaigns
  • Follow up on suppliers litigation and ageing of unpaid positions
  • Bank integration and reconciliation + banker relationship
  • Review of fixed assets
  • Tax : you will work closely with our external tax and accounting advisor for the current and annual tax declaration

Reporting activities with commented accounts for the controlling department

  • Monthly accruals calculation and booking
  • Sales at Day + 2
  • Net Commercial Profit at Day + 8
  • Annual closing
  • Internal review of the accounts with the French accounting and controlling team
  • Preparation of the consolidation package
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements and legal documents

Payroll 

  • You will be the key contact for the external payroll cabinet providing the monthly updated information (holidays, new comers, leavers, wages increase etc…)
  • Monthly Payroll booking and reconciliation vs payment
  • Long-term advance follow-up
  • You have a higher education degree in accounting and/or equivalent professional experience of at least 5 years.
  • You have a deep understanding of Greek payroll activities, tax and accounting regulations.
  • You are proficient in office applications, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central would be a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic are your strengths
  • English (speaking and writing) is mandatory. French would be nice to have.
  • You are easy on human contact and interaction as you will be constantly in relation with all teams and with our external accounting and payroll advisor.
