About the opportunity:

We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global organisation offering excellence in supply chain solutions to the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the Facilities Manager to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility run smoothly.
• Overseeing building maintenance, security, and health & safety practices to ensure the working environment is safe and efficient.
• Supporting internal teams with required facilities and H&S resources.
• Coordinating external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensuring compliance with all H&S and environmental policies and procedures.
• Leading a small team, including caretakers and cleaners, ensuring they meet operational standards.
• Managing the reception area and visitor security processes.

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in a similar leadership role, ideally in facilities management.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to lead a team and handle multiple tasks.
• A willingness to learn and develop, with the ability to attend training courses.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to step up when the Facilities Manager is unavailable.
• Ideally experienced with building maintenance, security, and health & safety practices (experience within warehouse/manufacturing will also be considered)

In return we are offering:

• A competitive salary of £28,000-£32,000 (depending on experience).
• Monday to Thursday working hours from 7 am - 4 pm, with a half-day on Friday from 8 am - 12 pm
