We are currently seeking a seasoned and accomplished professional to join our team as a Construction Estimator.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Quantify and estimate materials, labor, and equipment required.
• Research and gather data on materials costs and labor rates.
• Utilize estimating software for efficient cost calculations.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including subcontractor bids and overhead costs.
• Maintain a cost database and track historical cost data.
• Evaluate potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates.
• Present estimates to project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Update and revise estimates as project details evolve.
• Monitor project costs against estimates and identify variations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in construction costs.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and proposals.

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in estimating.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
