We are looking for an Entertainment News Writer to create engaging, timely, and well-researched content on the latest happenings in the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate is passionate about pop culture, TV shows, movies, and celebrity news, with a keen eye for trending topics and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Cover Breaking Entertainment News: Write compelling articles on trending topics, including TV shows, movies, casting announcements, reviews, trailer updates, show renewals/cancellations, and celebrity insights.
  •  Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor entertainment news, social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Reddit), and tabloids to identify buzzworthy stories.
  •  Enhance Articles with Multimedia: Incorporate images, social media embeds, and videos to enrich storytelling and reader engagement.
  •  Optimize for SEO: Ensure articles are well-structured, keyword-optimized, and aligned with SEO best practices while maintaining the brand’s voice and style.
  •  Collaborate with Editors: Work closely with the editorial team to refine article quality, pitch fresh ideas, and develop high-impact content.
  •  Meet Deadlines & Productivity Targets: Consistently deliver articles on time while maintaining high content standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  •  2-3 years of experience in entertainment journalism, digital content writing, or a similar field.
  •  Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  •  Strong knowledge of the entertainment industry, including TV, film, streaming platforms, and pop culture.
  •  Familiarity with SEO principles and digital content strategies (preferred but not required).
  •  Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced news environment.
