We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (Azure) to strengthen our Infrastructure & DevOps team by managing and optimizing our Azure DevOps-based development environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining our high standards of operational excellence, security, and innovation within the Currency Technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Infrastructure Management: Design, build, maintain, and optimize the entire development, build, test, and deployment infrastructure with Azure DevOps at the core, along with supporting tools like Nexus, Teamscale, SonarQube, and Mend.io.
  •  CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines across Windows and Linux environments.
  •  Version Control: Administer Git and Git LFS, ensuring efficient version control and collaboration.
  •  Virtualization & Automation: Oversee and optimize the ESXi VMware-based environment for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
  •  Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Terraform, and Python to improve operational efficiency.
  •  Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps best practices to enhance security across the infrastructure.
  •  Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Ensure system reliability and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  •  Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams in India and Germany, fostering a multicultural and inclusive environment.
  •  Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation.

Required Qualifications:

  •  Education: B.E./B.Tech (M.E./M.Tech is a plus).
  •  Azure DevOps Expertise: Proven track record in Azure DevOps, with a deep understanding of CI/CD principles.
  •  Scripting & Automation: Advanced proficiency in PowerShell, Terraform, and Python for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  •  Version Control: Strong experience with Git and Git LFS.
  •  Virtualization & Containers: Hands-on experience in VM automation and Docker containerization.
  •  DevSecOps & Security: Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps environments.
  •  Agile & Kanban: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work within an Agile (Kanban) framework.
  •  Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across global teams in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Flexibility: Willingness to support Go-Live periods when required.
  •  Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
