Job Description

The Deputy General Manager (DGM) is responsible for driving regional sales growth by developing and executing strategic initiatives to achieve annual targets. This role focuses on expanding the customer base, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring seamless operational execution across regional sites. The DGM oversees budget management, sales team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize performance and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves process improvement, demand forecasting, and maintaining showroom standards to align with organizational goals and market demands. Drive regional sales strategy to achieve annual targets, conducting quarterly reviews and analysis to ensure goal alignment.Key Responsibilities:Develop new customer bases and strengthen relationships with existing clients to drive loyalty and repeat business.Monitor all operational activities across regional sites, ensuring project and site activities align with organizational standards and goals.Manage regional budgetary expenses, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to meet financial objectives.Lead, motivate, and train the regional sales team, including showroom and key account managers, focusing on skills development and performance.Ensure effective communication and collaboration between Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Design, and Site departments for smooth project execution.Oversee customer feedback, work with support departments to ensure timely and satisfactory complaint resolution.Ensure collaboration with Product, Inventory, and Visual Merchandising teams to maintain showroom standards and product displays.Forecast product demand and plan inventory requirements to meet anticipated sales and customer needs.Identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend solutions, and implement updated SOPs and workflows to enhance regional operations.  Bachelor’s/Master’s degree 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or regional operations, preferably in retail, furniture, interior design, or construction industries.An engineer with a Sales Background is preferred Preferably Mechanical or the Civil EngineerSkills & Behavior:Someone who has worked in selling building materials, tools and machineryProject Management experience Great leadership and communication skills Strong ability to drive sales growth, expand market reach, and achieve financial targets.Expertise in developing and implementing sales strategies to align with business objectives.Experience in monitoring regional projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and timelines.
