Octal Philippines Inc. is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable DBA Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for aspiring Database Administrators. Your expertise will help foster a learning environment that supports skill development and professional growth.Key Responsibilities:Design and deliver training programs on database administration concepts and best practices.Create training materials, including presentations, exercises, and documentation.Conduct hands-on training sessions for participants, ensuring understanding of database management systems, backup and recovery strategies, and performance tuning.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance training content.Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback.Provide ongoing support and mentorship to trainees as they transition into DBA roles. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role, with deep knowledge of database concepts.Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.Experience in developing training materials and conducting training sessions.Ability to engage and motivate learners, tailoring training approaches to meet diverse needs.A passion for teaching and continuously learning new database technologies.
