We are currently looking for a Construction Electrical Engineer to join our Construction team in Athens offices.
Your Role Will Encompass

• Looking for potential subcontractors (searching) at new markets / states where Metlen is awarded a new Project
• Collects all documentation/drawings and prepares the RFQ for electrical erection works which will submit to the potential subcontractors
• Receives the technical and commercial offers and make the relevant evaluation- answers to the comments and submits clarifications
• Prepares the comparative tables and proposes to the management team the shortlisted subcontractors
• Follows up the progress and the budget of subcontract works
• Records the invoices of the subcontractors and make the follow up till the payment
• Gives to the scheduler the relevant information in terms of time duration and order of execution of works in order to prepare the Project time schedule
• Participates in meetings during the preparation or/and execution stage of the project
• Records possible delays regarding the delivery of equipment or issuance of drawings and informs the management team accordingly
  

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2-3 years of experience in a relevant position (construction, or oil & gas sector)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Critical thinking & troubleshooting capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
