The role

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to delivering reliable support within a busy stores and logistics operation.

Duties

• Hours will be approximately 6am-8am start with a finish 3pm-5pm minimum of 40 hrs with a possibility of some overtime once trained, which is paid at time and half!
• Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and care
• Assisting in loading the delivery truck
• Performing general stores duties (stock handling, tidying, inventory support)
• Driving a small delivery truck (when required)
• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive warehouse team
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

This is not a sole charge position—you’ll be working alongside a team, and the role is available for an immediate start.

You will ideally have the following:

• Forklift licence
• Experience receipting stock
• Experience picking stock
• Good level of physical fitness – this is a physical job
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Occasionally Saturday work is required
• Team player
• Good sense of humour
• Minimum of Full car licence- preferably a Class 2 licence
• Good local area/region knowledge would be an advantage for deliveries.
