Job Summary:

Bank of Jordan is looking for an experienced and strategic Cash Management Unit Head to lead our cash management operations. This role is vital for ensuring that the bank’s liquidity positions are managed effectively while optimizing cash flow for our clients. The Cash Management Unit Head will be responsible for developing and implementing cash management strategies, enhancing service offerings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of cash management solutions, banking operations, and client relationship management. Additionally, they will play a critical role in leading a team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional cash management services to our clients while maximizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Cash Management Unit, ensuring effective execution of cash management services and products.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance cash management solutions for corporate clients.
• Monitor liquidity and cash flow positions across the organization, optimizing funds management.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their cash management needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cash management processes and improve service delivery.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on cash management performance and strategic initiatives.
• Stay updated on market trends and innovations in cash management, providing insights for product development.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cash management, treasury, or banking operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cash management products, services, and industry best practices.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful cash management strategies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and market trends to inform decisions.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
