Role Summary:

The Asset and Finance Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive financial stewardship of personal assets and multiple LLCs. This includes day-to-day financial operations, strategic financial planning, tax optimization, asset management, risk mitigation, and reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting, possesses deep expertise in understanding complex financial structures, and operates with the highest level of integrity and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Personal Asset Management:
    • Oversee and manage personal investment portfolios, banking relationships, and assets.
    • Develop and implement personal financial plans and budgets.
    • Track performance, manage cash flow, and provide regular reporting on personal net worth and investments.
    • Liaise with external wealth advisors, accountants, and legal counsel as needed.
  2. Multi-Entity Financial Management (LLCs):
    • Strategize and execute all accounting functions together with the bookkeepers/accountants for the various LLCs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models for each entity.
    • Monitor cash flow, profitability, and financial performance against goals.
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  3. Tax Strategy & Compliance:
    • Coordinate with external tax advisors/CPAs for preparation and filing of all relevant tax returns.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
    • Stay current on tax law changes impacting individuals and pass-through entities.
  4. Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Analyze new investment opportunities and business initiatives from a financial perspective.
    • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track financial health and progress towards goals.
    • Manage financial risk across all areas of responsibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a significant portion focused on:
    • High-Net-Worth Individual Asset/Wealth Management: Demonstrable experience managing complex personal financial affairs.
    • Multi-Entity Financial Management: Proven experience overseeing finances for multiple LLCs or similar business structures.
    • Tax Planning & Strategy: Deep understanding and practical experience in sophisticated tax planning for individuals and pass-through entities.
  • Experience working within a startup, entrepreneurial, or family office environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills (financial modeling, data analysis).
  • Experience managing relationships with banks, investment advisors, legal counsel, and accountants.
