ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Work effectively in a team environment· Must be able to perform all work allocated· Must be able to work from blueprints, process sheets and/or instructions.· Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills.· Must be able to work with minimum supervision· This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds. Experience/Knowledge · Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset.· Experience with General Assembly and working in a manufacturing environment. · Computer and organizational skills.· Have good interpersonal and communications skills.· Goal orientated and motivation to achieve tasks within set timelines.
