We are a part of the Hexah group of companies, and while this position will primarily be servicing Civilitude, there will be opportunities to work with multiple groups. We seek a qualified individual to assist with accounts receivable in our accounting department. Our team is dynamic, offering numerous opportunities for learning, growth, and advancement as the company expands.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform and maintain the accounts receivable records including,
- Coordinating with project managers to receive requested data on time.
- Preparing and sending customer invoices monthly.
- Tracking and receiving customer payments.
- Sending routine customer balance statements.
- Reviewing accounts receivable aging and following up on payment collections.
- Monitor emails received to the accounting department and respond appropriately.
- Resolve customer and vendor issues.
- Communicate with accounts payable to ensure accurate records.
- Coordinate with business development to ensure customer billings align with proposals.
- Serve as a backup for administrative duties, such as opening the mail, answering the telephone, running errands, or purchasing office supplies.
- Create or modify documents such as reports, letters, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Assist with other accounting data entry, analysis or reporting tasks as needed.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures for assigned duties.
- Other duties as requested.
- Accounting education or 2-5 years of equivalent work experience, or a combination thereof
- Honesty, integrity, dependability.

- Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
- Ability to drive results from coworkers with a soft touch.
- Customer service skills, including professional writing and verbal communication.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Experience with project invoicing is a plus.
