This is a full-time, remote and permanent role based in the US Central timezone.Join Umbrella Fund as an Accountant and become a vital part of our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to manage our financial operations and ensure precise financial reporting.The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing month-end closes, and preparing detailed financial statements. You will also assist in budgeting and forecasting activities while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your analytical skills will provide valuable insights that aid in business decision-making and strategy execution.If you are meticulous, results-driven, and looking to advance your career in a collaborative environment, we invite you to apply!Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.Oversee monthly and yearly closing processes and reconciliations.Conduct budget preparation and financial forecasting.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.Support audit processes by providing necessary reports and documentation.Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial processes. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial regulations.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Effective communication and team collaboration skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines efficiently.
